Daily Math Report for Student and Parent (Everyday Math)
Share

Description

I used this report everyday with my students. When I introduced a new lesson I would had this paper out. Students were responsible for writing down the CCSS standards (which had to be up in my classroom as per my principal). Parents will be able to see what number standard they are working on and then reference the sheet I sent home in the beginning of the year with the standards all written out. Students will also write down the objective so parents know what the focus of today's lesson is. Students will write down new vocabulary introduced and any notes they would like to write down during my instruction. For closure of the lesson, I have a sample problem written on the board. Students try to solve the problem and then rate themselves. Parents are then able to work with their child if they are having difficulty with it. It usually takes me about a week for students to get in a good routine. Parents love it!!!!
