Description
This Daily Math Review, or daily warm-up, gives students a chance to practice previously taught building block skills on a routine basis. This review includes nine weeks of work. This is the second nine weeks, or weeks ten through eighteen. The Daily Math Review for weeks one through nine is also available.
My students keep this document in a three pronged folder. I hole punch the review so it is easy for them to locate, and so that pages aren't lost. They spend 10 minutes each morning completing a page of the review. I then quickly work through the problems while students check their work for accuracy.
On Friday mornings, I give the students the quiz. The quiz is a selection of problems that were visited earlier in the week. The quiz is a great formative assessment. It allows me to see which students need extra support, and which students have mastered which skills.
