Description
I created this form to record daily attendance, but it comes in handy for anything you need to check off daily like homework completion, class participation, etc. There are columns for two weeks' worth of attendance on it with days of the week at the top and space to write or type dates (i.e. - 9/2, 9/3, etc). The document contains 30 rows in the table so you can fit up to 30 student names. If your classes are smaller than that, you could delete some rows and make the text size of students' names bigger---or if your classes are larger than 30, you could reduce the font size and add more rows. There is some up-front work in either copying & pasting, typing, or handwriting students' names, but I enjoy taking attendance this way---the column lines and colors make it easy to follow as you are moving your eyes across or down the form. I print a bunch of these at the start of the year and make packets so when 2 weeks are done, I store it in my records and begin using a new packet. I can't tell you how many times I have referred back to paper copies for attendance!
