Description

This fully editable resource allows you to create sign-in pages for each of your students in order to reinforce proper letter formation, the sequence of letters in their name, and the daily routine of writing their first and last name. Each page has a place for the student to write daily, Monday-Friday.

You can add as many pages as you'd like and edit each with your students' names. Then, hole punch the class set and place it in a binder for the week in a place accessible to students. This is a great activity to have classroom aides or volunteers support with. I also give suggestions for when to implement the routine and what to do if a student is absent.

The resource includes suggested fonts, available for free, for both PowerPoint and Google Slides (Century Gothic and Didact Gothic, respectively). These closely match the typical letter formation taught in preschool and early elementary classrooms.

This resource has helped my class in many ways! We have established a routine, students get daily practice tracing their name, fine motor practice, and even recognizing days of the week! I love that it is editable and I can choose to scaffold what is needed and remove those scaffolds as time progresses! Thank you!
