You will hopefully come to love this resource (and life saver) as much as I do.
1. Browse over the data entry categories in the first four excel tabs below. Mine are set at IRI, DIBELS/Spelling, MOBY (moby max), and Benchmark (our county assessments).
Decide what you find most useful for your setting. No worries, this document is pretty customizable. You can change not only the tab titles, but also in Template change the areas in pink and then it will automatically update ALL of the student documents!!!
**Just remember to keep the order the same, the tabs and specific cells are formatted to auto populate. I suggest do "Save as" and making one to play with and enter your data into, while always saving the original, to copy formats and formulas from in the case of a mess-up.
2. Start entering student data into those first four tabs.
3. Click on the individual student tabs (S(1), S(2), etc.) and Print/Refer to the ones you need.
4. It's as easy as that!!
I used to run a class excel sheet for the year and then would have to run a seperate excel set of sheets (originally word tables) for my individual student sheets. Then I would start the tedious job of entering each student's data into the fields for all 25+ students. Thanks to my amazing sister and her excel knowledge, it's as easy as 1,2,3!!!
