This is a great review lab at the beginning of a scientific inquiry unit to see what your students know or to be used at the end of your scientific inquiry unit. I spend a week or so going over each type of data collection included on this two page lab and then have each type of data collection a station. It challenges students to think about all details of each type of data collection. The post lab questions at the end are great for students to reflect and discuss what they have learned.

Types of data included are: length, mass, weight, volume, and density.
