Description

Kindergarten Data Graphing: This Graphing math center includes three [3] sets of digital task cards on Google Slides. Students practice making tally charts, pictographs, and bar graphs. Each set includes 4 differentiated digital or printable recording sheets.

This resource is compatible for use in Google Classroom, but can be exported as a PowerPoint file from your Google Drive.

NOTE: This resource is included in this Big Bundle of Kindergarten Math Centers.

Activity Skills, Concepts, & Topics

★ Tally Charts: Count the 3D shapes and find the total. Represent all numbers as tally marks. Recording sheets cover more and less, count to find the total, and finding the total represented by addition number sentences.

★ Pictographs: Sort counting bears by color into pictograph. Count bears in each color. Recording sheets cover most and least, telling how many more or less, and finding the difference represented by subtraction number sentences.

★ Bar Graphs: Sort a set of objects by color. Count objects in each color. Create a bar graph. Recording sheets cover greatest, least and equal, telling how many more or less, and finding the difference represented by subtraction number sentences.

★ Collecting & Using Data: Use sets of data or graphs to compare numbers and amounts and answer questions.

How Does This Resource Work?

Task Cards: Digital task cards include movable drag-and-drop pieces to create the graphs. Text boxes are used for students to type responses. This resource only works when in EDIT mode.

Recording Sheets: Recording sheets are made for digital or printable use. Digital recording sheets only work when in EDIT mode.

Accessing Google Classroom Resources

Your download will include a PDF with a link to the Google Slides files. When prompted, click "Make a Copy" to save to your Google Drive. When assigning to students in Google Classroom, first make another copy of your original, and then remove any slides you don't want to assign yet from your copy.

You can always re-download the PDF from TpT if you forget and lose your Google Slides original.
