Description

One of the best parts of teaching is getting kids to write! As a teacher I worked tirelessly all year to not only increase their writing stamina, but also the quality of their writing. Anyone who works in a classroom knows that it can only be done by regular writing, high quality writing prompts, and the physical space to write.

As a teacher I was constantly on the hunt for engaging, high-quality writing prompts that were print and go. I could find some, but often I needed to do hunting the night before to ensure that I was giving my class engaging prompts that would inspire writing.

My goal of this resource is to be able to copy and go. I used writing notebooks in my classroom, and would glue these in as a record of their growth in the year. Looking back from the start of the year, to the end of the year was a great opportunity to reflect on the most important part of our job- GROWTH!

Happy Writing! Remember this could be the start of a future best selling novelist, or critically acclaimed poet. It starts in our classrooms!
