Classwork has conversions between decimals, fractions, and percents with the context of taxes or payroll deductions. Also includes ordering different states sales tax, flat rate tax, state and local sales tax, and fica tax.

This resource is intended to be used with a high school financial math course, but it could also be used for middle grades math. Specifically for: Convert numerical quantities of one form (fractions, decimals, percents) to another within financial applications. In middle grades math courses, many resources for this topic have a sports context. As an alternative to a sports theme, this resource has a financial context.
