Take your students on a math journey that's truly out of this world! This no-prep activity for practicing decimal operations to the hundredths place combines math skills with creativity and problem-solving. It also comes in handy for financial literacy lessons or calculations with money.
Students become travel planners for a group of monsters, working with a budget to plan their ultimate galactic getaway. They’ll calculate costs for destinations, lodging, transportation, food, and activities—all while practicing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of decimals in a meaningful and engaging way.
This out-of-this-world resource includes:
