Decimal Operations: Addition and Subtraction

This set of task cards provides practice for students in both addition and subtraction of decimal numbers including digits on both sides of the decimal. These cards work well when used with the companion set (sold separately) that can be used as a part of your a lesson on addition and subtraction of decimal numbers. The companion charts include visuals to support understanding of the process.

This set of cards include both static and dynamic problems for:

• addition and subtraction of numbers in the tenths;
• addition and subtraction of numbers in the hundredths.

This task card set includes a key.

When using these task cards, I recommend having students do a few at a time at intervals for repeated practice.
