Go beyond the lemonade stand project to work with decimals, percentages, graphing, and problem solving with build a business project based learning. In this student-tested and approved project, students select from a list of 3 businesses. Over a 4-part simulation, the students must react to different scenarios that effect costs and prices.

Build a Business goes beyond math to important life skill development. Students are decision makers, analysts, and of course, mathematicians. They develop their skills in graphing, financial literacy, percents, and more.
This is a great project for upper elementary classrooms. Give it to the whole class or differentiate by providing the project to small groups or individuals. Outstanding for gifted students as well.
NOTE: This product is a simplified version of the Not Your Lemonade Stand Math simulation for middle school. This product is specifically geared towards upper elementary students.
