Description
These decodable readers include decodable passages, comprehension questions AND word work. These readers are included in three ways:
- Google Slides Decodable Readers
- One-Page Printable Worksheet Decodable Readers
- PDF for Printable Decodable Reader Booklets
Each book is created in an "I Read, You Read" format. There will be a page for teachers to read, followed by a page for students to read. This pattern increases engagement in the story. On each teacher page, students will have a bold word to decode.
The print the booklets, select "2 pages per sheet", then cut and assemble. Please watch preview video for suggestions!
The one-pagers include the entire story on one page, with all comprehension questions and word work. These would be PERFECT to send home in folder for parents to read with their child. The one-pagers are also easy for a quick print, when you don't have time to make books, or don't have access to a SmartBoard. The one-pagers can be used for sub plans, or for reading centers.
The Google Slides Readers are bright and engaging. These can be used on the SmartBoard, or assigned in Google Classroom for parents to access at home.
