Decodable reading passages for students reading at the end of kindergarten/beginning of first grade. There are 42 total reading passages included, all focused on CVC words. Each reading passage includes a variety of comprehension questions.

Ways to use this resource:

1. Print at 50% & laminate- hole punch top of reading passages and put on a binder clip for independent practice.

2. Assess fluency & words per minute with individual students.

3. Partner reading activity.

4. Small group instruction- have students identify & highlight words with phonics focus.

5. Send passages home for students to practice fluency.

6. Assess comprehension in a small group setting or have students complete independently.
