This resource contains 15 pages of addition word problems (adding within 20). It contains 30 addition story problems total. 10 pages are structured with horizontally written equations, and 5 pages are formatted with vertically oriented equations. Every story problem is carefully constructed to be decodable and aligned with the science of reading, so your students can independently practice story problems successfully. The lexend font and spacing used is especially designed for early readers and those with reading challenges/ dyslexia. Students will read the problem, draw/ solve the problem, and write an equation.

The only exceptions to the decodable vocabulary are key math terms:
