Make rounding more fun with this "Decode & Color".
Students will
*Choose any given space on the picture.
*Round the number in that space to the nearest thousand.
*Color that space the color associated with the answer. (Found in the key to the right).
*Continue until all spaces have been decoded.
*Color any remaining spaces (that do not have numbers in them) whatever color the student would like.
NOTE: This works best if students use crayons or large colored pencils. Markers tend to make the whole thing too wet, and cover up the math questions.
