I have been wanting to purchase this resource, and I am so happy I did. I am planning to use this during small group intervention to build fluency while reviewing phonics skills. I appreciate that this resource doesn't use spelling patterns in decodable passages until they have been taught.

I used this to send home for a few of my students who were having trouble with specific phonics concepts in reading. The sheets are very clear and not too much to send home with families. I am hoping to assess my entire class and see what concepts they should be working on, and send these home for extra practice in the future!

As a first grade teacher, it is my responsibility to get my students reading. I bought this bundle with the intention of using it in the classroom during small groups, but that didnt go according to plan. I decided to begin sending these home! I would send home one worksheet a day that was directly aligned to my phonics lesson. This worked wonders! My students reading improved drastically and it established the expectation for parents of what exactly their first graders should be reading. Additionally, I saw a boost in my student's confidence. Loved this resource!
