DECODING STRATEGY POSTERS
10 easy to follow visual posters. Ideal for any Early Years Classroom. This digital resource includes 10 decoding posters with the following titles:
- What do Good Readers do?
- Point to the words
- Look at the picture
- Get their mouth ready for the first sound
- Stretch out each sound
- Look for words inside a word
- Chunk sounds together
- Read on to the end of a sentence and then come back to the word
- Use rhyming words to read tricky words
- Reread if their reading does not make sense, sound right or look right
Simply print, laminate and display!
Alternatively, if you were wanting to use these as smaller 'cards' you can change your printer settings so you have two pages to each A4 page.
