Description
Help your students practice crossing over to the next decade with Decuple BINGO!
Directions:
Play just as you would traditional BINGO, except in this game, you are marking the decuple that comes after the end of the previous decade. For example, if the card drawn is a
27, 28, 29, ? ..........children would mark a 30. If the card drawn is 37, 38, 39, ?...…children would mark a 40. If the number is on their board in more than one location, I only let my students select one location, so play can continue a bit longer.
***If students have progressed beyond needing a running start, I have included cards with only one numeral.
Once a student gets 4 in a row, they have a BINGO and get to put a chip in one of their Winner’s Circles. Continue playing several games. You can use teacher discretion, but I do also like to have my students clear their boards after each win. The student with the most chips in their Winner’s Circles is the winner that day!
*I use this activity in small group math intervention, so there are only enough cards for a small group in this download (6 cards in color AND the same 6 cards in black and white are included).
Enjoy!
