Description
-I am going to make an anchor chart with my kids that looks just like this and they will fill it out with me.
-My students are going to use the heads-up cards to play a game. They will hold each card up to their forehead without looking at the word and a partner has to describe it to them without saying the word on the card. For example, if a student has the word “rectangle” on their forehead, their partner can say things like, “It has 4 sides, 4 angles, and 1 face.” It is up to you if they can use their paper as a “cheat sheet” or not.
-This can be used as a quiz grade if you’ve already taught the standard.
-You could give students cut out shapes or tangrams and they can work together in a math group to fill it out while looking at the shapes to help them.
