Description
There are 4 density INB pages in this resource. The pages are intended to introduce density and give students practice calculating densities and determining if objects will float or sink in water. Teachers can use all four pages or choose the pages best suited for the needs of their students. Students will need scissors and glue to complete these pages. Colored pencils or markers are optional. Complete answer keys are included.
What's in each INB page?
- Page 1: This page reviews mass and volume in order to set students up for a solid understanding of density.
- Page 2: This page introduces density by going over the definition, units, formula, and floating/sinking in water.
- Page 3: On this page, students practice the relationship between mass, volume, and density.
- Page 4: On this page students are given the mass and volume of an object in order to find the correct density and determine whether it will sink or float.
***This resource can also be purchased at a discount as part of the Density Package, which comes with these four Interactive Notebook pages, four worksheets, three lab activities, one project, and one assessment.
