An introductory lab to introduce students to density using a cartesian diver. This lab will help students to understand how mass and volume proportionally relate to an objects density. The worksheet guides students through prelab questions, lab procedure, analysis, drawing and a reflection.

The hands on aspect allows for kids to actively engage in making the cartesian diver with detailed procedure notes. This could be done in pairs or individually.
