Description
These Calculus Derivative Power Rule Self Checking Task Cards plus FUN Notes activities are designed for first semester Calculus. They will reinforce your students skills with the Power Rule and challenge them with a few applications, while engaging them in a fun way to do Calculus.
Included
- Two sets of 24 Task Cards which only use the power rule. Some Questions are quite challenging. One set has QR codes on the cards and the other set does not. Students do not need the internet to see the answers, but must have a QR reader/camera installed on their mobile device. There are no transcendental functions. These problems are before the product, quotient, and chain rules. Some questions have students finding the tangent line, or the value of the derivative at a point.
- Same questions in a worksheet format which can be used for you to easily answer students questions while doing a group Task Card Activity, or for an alternate class, or an absentee.
- Student response sheet for the Task Cards
- Additional Practice with 2 FUN Notes® themed pages. Use as Homework, assessment, or enrichment. When done with the 12 problems students can use their creativity to embellish, decorate, and unleash their creative talents. Formulas are included on the FUN notes pages.
