This packet is designed to help students describe, identify, and compare objects using attributes through engaging, structured language activities. The activities progress from simple naming tasks to higher-level comparison and sentence formulation, making this resource ideal for speech therapy, small groups, language intervention, and classroom support.

What’s Included:

This packet includes 3 language activities targeting object attributes:

  • Attribute-Based Naming (Divergent Naming)
    Students name as many items as they can that match a given describing word (for example: tall, short, strong, weak).
    Targets expressive vocabulary, divergent naming, semantic organization, and word retrieval.
  • Comparing Objects by Attributes
    Students compare objects and identify which item best matches a specific attribute. Pages include 2-item and 3-item comparisons to support differentiation.
    Targets receptive language, attribute identification, semantic discrimination, and comparative reasoning.
  • Comparative Sentences (–er Words)
    Students complete sentences using comparative adjectives with a word bank (for example: An elephant is ______ than a mouse.).
    Targets expressive grammar, sentence formulation, and semantic relationships.
