Description

Describing picture scenes can be so much fun as a language development activity! Your students' will be so engaged with describing picture scenes through ESL activities speaking and oral language activity. MLs will especially enjoy the cards and topics for esl conversation. This resource is based on a PWIM model of language learning and includes PWIM posters and lesson plans with additional activity for language development.

If your goal is to build language with early and emergent language learners, check out the Early and Emergent Assessments for Newcomers and Kindergarten Students for next steps in foundational math and literacy.
