Description

This descriptive paragraph planner will help students organize their ideas into paragraphs. 25 topics are listed on colorful paint splats which can be laminated and cut out for use in a learning center. Students write their ideas on the paint palette worksheet so that the description paints a picture in the reader's mind. The writing paper with the fun border to color makes this activity educational and fun!

This resource includes:

  • Paragraph planner page for students to write down ideas
  • 4 writing pages with different size lines and a fun border to color
  • 25 suggested prompts on paint splats
  • Directions for the teacher

Please note that the paint blobs on the palette are smaller in size. Students who write a bit larger could write phrases instead of sentences on the planning page.
