This color-value activity complements my Mola-gram art lesson and can be presented separately as well. The worksheet provides guided instructions to assist students in adding color to a mola-style design complete with vibrant patterns.

Students may choose one of the animal themed designs, which I drew, or may apply the color-value instructions to an original drawing of their own. There are six (6) student worksheet pages and two (2) colored example pages. The first page is the color-value worksheet, followed by mola style animal drawings: Parrot, Dog, Turtle, Butterfly, and Fish. Students will need markers, gel pens, or colored pencils to color the intricate designs neatly.

This product includes finished color examples that teachers can present to their classes for instructional purposes.
