Description

Students love and need structure on the one hand, and freedom on the other -

this is why setting up a clear design process is so motivating for them!

A set of print-out sheets which are designed make it clear for students to work through a stepped design process.

This set of pro-formas is highly suitable for applying Isometric and Orthogonal Drawing skills and particularly with respect the my 3D design briefs. It can also be used for my stamp design brief as well as other 2D design projects.

I have now included a scaffolded approach to the analysis of research which helps students think more clearly and going beyond simply naming the elements and principles of design.

(also a list of the elements and principles that I use)

It is in response to (but not claiming to exemplify) the Visual Communication and Design, Subject from the Australian State of Victoria.
