This is a good project for applyin communication skills as a students are tasksd with brainstorming and collaborating with peers to create a game that can meet the objectives that are laid out in the missions provided. This is engaging and students come up with creative ways to adapt and adjust with reminders of effective communication skills.
My students really enjoyed doing this as part of our social emotional unit on teamwork.
My Gifted students loved this because it was very well structured to ask them to think of the various components to a video game. Thank you.
I used this with my students that struggle with executive functioning skills and social emotional learning.
