Description

This activity was designed as an alternative way to assess my students on multiple different third grade learning targets/standards. In this activity, students are tasked with designing a farm for a farmer and his family. They need to draw their farm plan on a piece of construction paper or poster board. They need to follow along with the directions packet in order to answer questions about their farm plan. This project covers

  • multiplication
  • area and perimeter
  • geometry
  • basic fractions
  • addition/subtraction.
