Detect-A-Word
This practice activity is sure to help your little ones learn their sight words in no time. They will be detectives as they use the clue bank to write letters over the pictures to spell sight words. After they uncover the secret word, they will write it on their own. Every 5 lists comes with a different set of picture clues.
Use this activity in centers, for morning work, homework, and so much more...
The word lists I created contains only words that have to be learned and cannot be sounded out. You will notice that the last word in each list is the first word in the next list. The repeated word is usually a trickier word to learn, thus, they get extra practice with it:
List 1 - the, is, you, my, go, [and]
List 2 - and, to, a, me, see, [are]
List 3 - are, he, like, can, for, [said]
List 4 - said, at, was, on, she, [here]
List 5 - here, am, look, will, be, [with]
List 6 - with, all, it, did, I, [of]
List 7 - of, we, do, good, up, [come]
List 8 - come, so, no, his, in, [have]
List 9 - have, as, little, or, one, [what]
List 10 - what, by, day, our, eat, [they]
List 11 - they, from, why, make, out, [there]
List 12 - there, went, who, after, get, [where]
