Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) note card project
Share

Description

The Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) note card project is about giving your students the opportunity to apply their learning and understanding while having self-selected useful information for the workplace or home.

The note card is similar to having them write a lesson plan, but for high school students, this approach is less intimidating.

Essentially, after learning about DAP as it relates to preschoolers, elementary students, or even upper grades, the students research and select activities they would enjoy doing with their future students.

What you are purchasing today includes the objective of the project as it relates to classroom learning, specific step by step instructions, research resource options, and the point value and breakdown of the project.

This project can be ongoing throughout the entire semester as students can add additional DAP note cards to any theme or unit.

For example, students may have a section of note cards on finger plays, creative art activities, outdoor play activities, etc... The possibilities are endless, and for those students that are serious about working with children, they will leave your class with nice collection of cards to be used with their future students.
