Description

Dictations aligning with step 3.1. Each dictation contains sounds, words, nonsense words and sentences. Imperative for special education teachers who provide multisensory reading lessons a documentation of progress. Completely editable. This resource is a priceless way to organize dictations.

  • excellent for progress monitoring
  • Formative assessment built into the Wilson Reading System® (WRS) program with every single lesson
  • use dictations to assess how the students are responding to instruction, that is, how the student’s skills and understanding of concepts are progressing
  • this progress monitoring allows teachers to diagnostically plan for the following lessons and to pace the group appropriately

In my classroom I allow students to "mark" their own dictations by projecting the spreadsheet on the smartboard or making a copy for each student to staple in their books.

I will be making dictations available for EVERY substep that can be purchased alone or in bundles. They are a true time saver!
