Dictionary Skills activities. Dictionary Skills with a Twist! Teaching Dictionary Skills can be tough! UGH! These Dictionary Skills Mini-Books will engage your students and get them to become Dictionary Detectives!

Get your little kiddos to become Super Sleuth Dictionary Detectives with this jam-packed dictionary unit.

This unit includes:

* 2 Mini-Books - Dictionary Detectives and The Case of the Unknown Words. The covers for the mini-books come in color and black and white.

- Dictionary Detectives comes with Customizable Magnifying Glasses to allow you to choose the words you want your students to find in the dictionary. The Magnifying Glasses will come in a Powerpoint Document so that you can customize them with specific words. This mini-book is 12 pages long, but can be longer if you wish.

- The Mini-Book includes:
Labeling the Dictionary Page
Guide Word Guru
Pages to find specific words and definitions

- The Case of the Unknown Words Mini-Book allows your students to Crack the Case. They will go on a hunt through the dictionary for words and record them in their mini-book. When they have found all ten words, they will solve the mystery riddle and Crack the Code. This mini-book comes with 10 Briefcase Task Cards with specific words on them and 2 BLANK Task Cards to customize if you so wish. This mini-book is 12 pages long.
