Description

This is the perfect activity to help your students master difficult dictionary skills. These tasks cards can be differentiated for your individual learners. In total, there are 24 task cards. I have included three different levels of cards. 1-8 only involve guide words to the first letter. 9-16 involve guide words to the 2nd letter, and 17-24 are more difficult going to the third letter in some choices. I have the 3 different levels distinguished by the shape around the card number. Level 1 is shown with a circle, level 2 with a hexagon, and level 3 with a square.

In addition to the different levels of cards, I have also included 5 different recording sheet options. This allows you to choose how many cards you want each student to complete. You can choose to have students complete 1-8, 1-12, 1-16, 1-20, or 1-24. This is perfect for students who may be able to do some more difficult guide words but not all 8 cards on that level. This also includes an answer key for each answering sheet.

I use this activity during centers and give each group different instructions based on their understanding of guide words. The students will not even realize the slight differences.

This product also includes the Google Forms self-grading options which are perfect for Google Classroom and Distance Learning! There are five Google Forms that vary in the number of problems and difficulty level, so they can also be differentiated.
