This is an 8-page bundle. Pages 1-7 (12 questions per page) require students to use a dictionary to locate words. Students will use dictionary entries to determine syllabication, pronunciation, guide words, or part of speech for various words. There are also questions that can be answered based on details given in the definitions of certain words. These materials work best with children's dictionaries, however a standard adult dictionary would work as well. Page 8 contains a formative assessment (2 copies on one page) that can be used as a ticket-out-the-door or pre-assessment.
