These array task cards are a great way to introduce the concept of multiplication to your students. The cards come in three leveled sets with 24 cards per set.

Set 1 (Low) - shows an array and asks students to write the multiplication equation
Set 2 (Avg) - shows an array and a word problem and asks for the multiplication equation
Set 3 (High) - has a word problem and asks for the array and the multiplication equation

A blank recording sheet is included along with answer *sheets* for the low and avg sets. For all three sets you have the option of printing the answers either on the back of the cards or on separate cards that students can get once they've finished the work.

This unit was created with 3rd grade in mind, however a high achieving 2nd grader or below average 4th grader will also be able to use it.
