Do you have students that have difficulty with inferences? The three different games that are included in this document are categorized by the TYPE of thinking processes that a student must have in order to be able to infer.
Telling students to "Combine what they already know with what is already stated in the text" is often not enough for some students. Practicing inference through the form of worksheets or games does not always provide wanted results.

The three inference games that are included in this document are categorized by the type of thinking processes that must occur for a student to successfully infer information. This includes: identifying subtle clues throughout the text and making connections, knowing character traits and feelings as well as the behaviors that assist a reader with identifying these traits and feelings, and having academic vocabulary to comprehend what is directly stated by an author. Two reading passages with detailed answer keys are also included.
