Description

Do you ever wonder what to do with your students who are fast finishers or need a challenge with content-specific math? These “Give Me Five” and “Tic-Tac-Toe” boards are just the ticket!

One set works very much like free choice. Students choose five items to complete from the board. The other set works very much like a Tic-Tac-Toe board.

The problems are set so that regardless of which way a student chooses, there are problems of various types and different difficulty levels. The student gets to make the choice. There are dots next to each problem.
* One dot is review/low-difficulty
* Two dots is average difficulty level
* Three dots is advanced/enrichment

It is also designed so that new concepts spiral in with each board. As new concepts are added, older concepts are taken away. Occasionally, an older concept is added in as a review.

This set is meant for second grade, but it can be used with advanced first graders or third graders who need review.
