Description

Do your students struggle with all of the steps when solving scale problems? Does setting up proportions give your students difficulty? Do your students not know what to do after they measure?

These 24 task cards (with and without QR codes) give your students a chance to practice these difficult skills. Cards 1-6 ask students to measure in centimeters, and each length is in whole centimeters. Task cards 7-12 ask students to measure in inches, and each length is in whole inches. Task cards 13-18 ask student to measure in centimeters, yet this time, each measurement has a half-centimeter measurement (6.5, 8.5, etc.). Task cards 19-24 ask students to measure in inches, and measurements fall at the half inch mark.

*Have students measure to the nearest 1/2 inch or 1/2 centimeter for the most accurate results.
