Finally a no prep differentiated Thanksgiving math project that is easily organized, easily graded and makes an attractive bulletin board display! This Thanksgiving or Fall themed Math PBL Organizing A Turkey Trot Fun Run comes with 4 differentiated versions for all kinds of learners within your class, whether in a 3rd grade, 4th grade, or 5th grade class. This No Prep math project is print and go for the teacher while allowing for lots of math review, multiple step word problem solving, critical thinking, and real world application for students.

Students will map a running route, organize funds and volunteers and make charity donation decisions using real-world math skills. Skills covered focus on one and two step word problems on multiplication and division based on each grade level's standards (math facts, two digit by two digit, decimals etc). It also includes both closed and open ended math problems (one or multiple correct answer combinations) that are all based on real world scenario math. This Thanksgiving Project Based Learning Turkey Trot Activity is ideal for 3rd Grade, 4th Grade and 5th Grade. Differentiated versions meet the standards of all 3 grade levels. It is designed to challenge students, promote productive struggle and problem solving, while also allowing for lots of opportunties for the teacher to differentiate in order to adapt this project to the various learners in each class.
