This product covers 8 types of problems using the CGI framework: Part-Part-Whole (whole unknown and part unknown), Join (result unknown, change unknown, and start unknown), and Separate (result unknown, change unknown, and start unknown). The product includes 6 word problems for each type for a total of 48 unique word problems. The word problems are available in 3 different levels of learning: addition and subtraction within 10, addition and subtraction within 20, and addition and subtraction within 100. Each level has the same 48 problems, so differently leveled students could easily work on the same problem, just with different numbers.

This makes a great problem solving activity for the beginning of your math lessons or number talks. It can be used for small groups, or even as homework!
