Description
This lab covers the digestive anatomical structures located in a live earthworm. For any teacher looking for “hands on” enrichment activities that will fully engage the student, this product is for you. This lab requires the use of earthworms which I usually purchase from a local fishing store. This lab is very flexible as it will work for any level student from English Learner - EL - to more advanced students. This product includes the Earthworm Dissection Lab, teacher guidelines/directions, a materials list, and an answer key. This lab normally takes a single class period. This was a perfect resource to use for my 7th grade Life Science class. I usually have to research and locate each resource I want to use and include in this lab, but this was all in once place and super efficient for me to use. Since I always like to try to "perfect" my lessons and activities each year, this helped so, so much. This kiddos were super excited to dissect worms, and this resource allowed them to learn what and why were were dissecting in the first place. :)

What a great product! The directions, explanations and visuals were clear enough for my students to follow! The lab questions were also very well put together, as they included easy to advanced critical thinking.
