This Digestive System Mini-Escape Room allows the teacher to use a break out box, out of your seat activity. You will also be able to see the power of an escape room in producing teachable moments within your classroom. THIS ACTIVITY IS THE BEST FOR PRODUCING COLLABORATION IN THE CLASSROOM!
This is a brand new Mini-Escape Room focusing on the Digestive SYSTEM and is totally immersive product from the STEM Center that promotes cooperative learning! The questions provoke interaction between the students, and the teacher. We have developed a comprehensive 1 tier, Digestive System Escape Room Break Out Box Activity. The Escape Room centers around the fundamental vocabulary found within a unit focused on Negative Peer Pressure. We have found a way to make learning FUN!
Students are given 12 cards with four questions on each card that will lead to unlocking a lock box that contains the homework pass.
The escape room can be run several different ways. The cheapest and easiest method is to use a manila envelope for the puzzle. For a more authentic escape room each you will need the following:
- 1 Three digit Lock
- One Lock Box
