What is an Escape Room?
This is also called the breakout room or Escape Room. These activities require students to unlock a series of locks using clues that can be found in various documents, puzzles, videos and many other resources. Students will be required to use content knowledge as well as critical and logical thinking skills to solve puzzles and unlock the code.
The Benefits of Escape Rooms
Escape Rooms require students to use content knowledge as well as critical and logical thinking skills to successfully determine the combinations of the locks. If the escape room activity is used as a partner or team activity, it fosters communication and collaboration between students. This gives students an opportunity to analyze their leadership skills and try different teamwork strategies. The escape rooms require sustained problem solving over an extended period of time. This helps students build stamina while working on difficult tasks. Escape rooms are engaging and students often get excited as they get closer to escaping the room before time runs out.
Escape rooms give students an opportunity to apply their knowledge in a unique experience. Each Escape room puzzles are designed for a diverse population of students. Different types of codes and puzzles are used in the escape so that all learners can be challenged and demonstrate success in multiple areas of content and types of thinking. Escape rooms are student directed. Teachers do a lot of observing and listening during the sessions, while students take the lead in their own learning.

I think this could have been a great resource, but the translation into the Google Form with what was in the other resources just didn't seem to mesh. Pieces of questions where missing in the form. Some places were lacking clear directions, which for students working virtually can be very difficult, and despite my tries to edit with the information in the hard copy/KEY, I just wasn't able to make heads or tails of some puzzles in a way that was user friendly or made sense with what was available.
