Description
Ready to crack the cosmic code to solving exponential equations with common bases? This digital, self-checking codebreaker activity focuses on exponential equations that solve using common bases and exponent rules. Students stay accountable, get instant feedback, and work toward unlocking a secret message sent by an Alien DJ -- all without extra grading stress for you.
⭐ Perfect for Algebra 2 or Pre-Calculus students needing practice solving exponential equations with common bases and applying exponent rules.
☑️ TYPES OF PROBLEMS & SKILLS PRACTICED:
- Solving exponential equations...
- with the same base (set exponents equal)
- require rewriting to have the same base (i.e. 5 and 125)
- with the same base and requires using exponent rules (product & quotient rules)
- requires rewriting to have same base & uses exponent rules
- student do NOT need to use logarithms to solve (but they can!)
None of the problems require using logs to solve
