Description

Looking for a way for students to work digitally on their addition math facts fluency? Would you like your student to focus in on each set of facts comprehensively, so they can build mastery? These digital math fact fluency games for the individual fact sets, such as the one for the three facts, include the same fact with the answer in different spots, so students can go through the deck several times at once to build fact fluency. These are also self-checking! Yay! They are set to randomize, so students never practice the same deck twice.

These come in Boom Cards format, which is very versatile with many different learning platforms. You can easily assign these in other programs such as Seesaw or Google Classroom. However, students can go straight to the Boom platform to practice their math facts too.

You can also find these in my Math Facts Fluency bundle that has been successively used in thousands of classrooms and helped thousands of children to master math facts fluency. I also have a set that includes both the addition and subtraction facts here.

Includes 27 Decks:

•I Facts for Addition

•2 Facts for Addition

•3 Facts for Addition

•4 Facts for Addition

•5 Facts for Addition

•6 Facts for Addition

•7 Facts for Addition

•8 Facts for Addition

•9 Facts for Addition

•10 Facts for Addition

•11 Facts for Addition

•12 Facts for Addition

•Doubles for Addition

•Comprehensive Mixed for Addition (1+0=1 to 12+12=24)

•Comprehensive Mixed for Subtraction (1-1=0 to 24-12=12)

What Do I Need to Use the Boom Cards?

To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for modern Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (a form of play that gives instant feedback to students for self-grading Boom Cards). For assignment options that report student progress back to you, you will need to purchase a premium account. If you are new to Boom Learning, you will be offered a free trial of our premium account. Read here for details: http://bit.ly/BoomTrial.

How Many Devices Can Access the Boom Cards?

A single license is good for one teacher and her students, so you can use this with your whole class on as many devices as you like. You can even assign these for homework too!

You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options, you will need a premium account. If you are new to Boom Learning, you will be offered a free trial of our premium account. I will provide links to access Boom Learning in the resource. In other words, you can use these with a free account, but you get additional features with the premium account. Premium accounts are very low cost for the year too.

Can I Use These with SeeSaw, Google Classroom, or other Learning Management Systems?

There are two ways you can use these with SeeSaw, Google Classroom, or other learning management systems. You could even assign these by email. You can assign the fast pin in SeeSaw or other platforms and students can click the link to play. Student will not need to log into an account with this method, but data will not be saved. The other method is to use with a Boom Learning account, which is low cost for the year and has a free trial period to new users. You can create an assignment for your students, assign with a hyperplay link, and students will need to log into their Boom Learning account to use these.

How does it work?

You will receive a PDF file for each deck. Each PDF will have a link to a deck. When you click the link, it will have you either log in or set up a Boom account. Then it will add the deck to your library, so you can assign it. I have instructions in the PDF.

Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).
Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies. By end of Grade 2, know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers.
