Description

This Digital Interactive Math Notebook is perfect for Distance Learning, Hybrid Learning, and Classroom Live Learning. It can be used in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, math problem solving and daily learning activities. In class, it would be a terrific addition to your math learning centres and/or guided groups. Aligning with the Grade 4 CCSS, this Google Slide includes a section for each CCSS content domain, as well as a section where educators can upload their own math posters, classroom anchor charts, or create their digital charts to include thereon. This is an ideal resource to use for students in Google Classroom and many other learning platforms.

Each CCSS content domain section includes a title page, a page with key words and terms for that particular domain, a page with the Grade 4 standards, a poster to write learning goals and success criteria, as well as 10 blank slides to either insert math problems or activities or for students to simply record their observations from a math activity posted and conducted in class (there are 50 blank slides altogether, 10 for each CCSS content domain, plus an additional 10 for the posters/anchor chart section). You have the option to add more pages and the instructions are set out on the Speaker's Notes section of the Google Slide. The Speaker's Notes section also includes instructions detailing how to change the links to the page numbers from the buttons on the slides if you choose to insert additional pages.

If you are using Google Classroom, one option for usage is to provide each student with their own individual copy with an assignment inserted into one of the slides, and students can "turn in" the Digital Math Notebook to you once they have completed that particular task. From there, you can check the students' work, upload a new assignment, and then "return" the assignment to the students, and repeat. Another option is to assign the digital notebook for each student and then students keep it in their "assigned" box all year (and do not "turn in"). Educators simply insert new assignments by copy and pasting them into each student's notebook. This is how I use this resource in my classroom and it is so efficient and seamless!

The key words and terms I have chosen for this resource correspond with the Grade 4 CCSS but any word or term can be changed at any time as this document is interactive in nature.

You may, of course, insert your own Bitmoji to personalize this Digital Math Notebook once you are in possession of your own copy!

Gave me a template to create a digital resource math notebook for my 4th and 5th grade classes. I inserted anchor charts within each section.
