Description

This Two-Step Equations activity is formatted through Google Sheets and ready for Google Classroom. 20 problems require a typed digit response.

Equations include variables on the left side, variables on the right, and a mixture of variables on both sides. It includes addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Students must identify and highlight the first step of each problem. They can pick any color in the paint bucket. Then, finish solving the problems and put their final answer in the yellow box.

Problems are already on the sheet. Students should enter their answer in the yellow boxes. Students only need to write the digit answer, not the variable that goes with it. If their answers are correct, the box will turn green.

When they submit through Google Classroom, you will be able to quickly see a thumbnail to see if students are correct (green boxes) or if they are incorrect (yellow boxes) without opening every assignment (Just like the small pictures above)

When you open the link, you will be prompted to make a copy. Click the make a copy button. You will now have your own version. You now have all editing rights. You can change the title to fit your needs. You can also edit and delete problems.
