Description

This digital chess game is a smaller version of chess played on a 5x6 board. By removing one set of the repeated pieces (a rook, bishop, and knight) and shrinking the board, you can help students learn the game more simply. It also makes games move faster to fit in more practice in a short time.

This digital game works via Google Slides, so you don't need students to sign up for any external sites or pay for any subscriptions. Simply have students make a copy of the file, share it with their opponent with "Edit" access, and they can start playing. They can also share their game file to you so that you can monitor them as well.
